तत् द्रव्यम् क्ष्मां पृथिवीम् अधिष्ठाय जायते मृदम् इव घटः उपादानकारणम् पृथ्वीत्यर्थः ॥ (२।०)

tat dravyam kṣmāṃ pṛthivīm adhiṣṭhāya jāyate mṛdam iva ghaṭaḥ upādānakāraṇam pṛthvītyarthaḥ ||
