यथैव हस्तमुसलसंयोगो मुसलोत्पतनकर्मणि न कारणं तथात्महस्तसंयोगोऽपि हस्तोत्पतनकर्मणि न कारणं संयोगस्य सापेक्षकारणत्वात् ॥ (१।०)

yathaiva hastamusalasaṃyogo musalotpatanakarmaṇi na kāraṇaṃ tathātmahastasaṃyogo'pi hastotpatanakarmaṇi na kāraṇaṃ saṃyogasya sāpekṣakāraṇatvāt ||

मुसलेन सहोत्पततु हस्तः इति अभिसंधेर् अभावेन प्रयत्नस्य चाभावात् ॥ (२।०)

musalena sahotpatatu hastaḥ iti abhisaṃdher abhāvena prayatnasya cābhāvāt ||

कुतस्तयोरुत्पतनमिति चेत् ॥ (३।०)
