यत्र यत्रावधिं करोति तत्र तत्र इदमस्मात् पूर्वेण इत्यादिव्यवहारो मूर्तेषु प्रवर्तते अतो मूर्तसंयोगाख्यैर् गुणैर् दिग् व्याख्याता महत्त्ववती ॥ (१।०)

yatra yatrāvadhiṃ karoti tatra tatra idamasmāt pūrveṇa ityādivyavahāro mūrteṣu pravartate ato mūrtasaṃyogākhyair guṇair dig vyākhyātā mahattvavatī ||
