ननु शब्देनाकाशं सम्बद्धम् आकाशेन चार्थः एवं सम्बन्धसम्बन्धाद् अर्थेन सम्बन्ध इति ॥ (१।०)

nanu śabdenākāśaṃ sambaddham ākāśena cārthaḥ evaṃ sambandhasambandhād arthena sambandha iti ||

नैतत् सर्वार्थानामाकाशेन सम्बन्धात् कस्मिन्नर्थे शब्दः प्रयुक्त इति सन्देहादप्रतिपत्तिः स्यात् ॥ (२।०)

naitat sarvārthānāmākāśena sambandhāt kasminnarthe śabdaḥ prayukta iti sandehādapratipattiḥ syāt ||

अतो न सम्बन्धः ॥ (३।०)
