भूमिपृष्ठभागे कुड्येन निर्मितं चतुर्विंशत्यङ्गुलोच्छ्रायं तावन्मानमेव तले मुखे च विस्तृतमेतादृशं यद्गर्तं भेषजं पक्तुमुपलादिभिः पूर्यते तत्कुक्कुटपुटसंज्ञं भवति ॥ (२।०)

bhūmipṛṣṭhabhāge kuḍyena nirmitaṃ caturviṃśatyaṅgulocchrāyaṃ tāvanmānameva tale mukhe ca vistṛtametādṛśaṃ yadgartaṃ bheṣajaṃ paktumupalādibhiḥ pūryate tatkukkuṭapuṭasaṃjñaṃ bhavati ||
