पादादिजीर्णबीजः पादादिना पादार्धेन समतो न्यूनेन च जीर्णं बीजं यस्मिन् सः पत्रलेपेन युज्यते अतः पत्ररञ्जनं स्यादित्यभिप्रायः ॥ (१।०)
