Interpretations

Sri Aurobindo

Then indeed all accept and cleave to the Will (or the Wqork) when, O godhead, thou art born a living soul from the dryness (i.e. from the material being, the desert, as it is called, unwatered by the streams of the Truth); all enjoy godhead attaining to the truth and the immortality by their movements. (SABCL, Vol. 10, pp. 192-93)

All cleave to thy will of works when, O God, thou art born a living being from dry matter. All enjoy the Name, the Godhead; by thy movements they touch Truth and Immortality. (SABCL, Vol. 11, p. 55)
